Advice from my late hubby.

Found this in my grief journal, which I am in the process of typing up:

“It was Edi who knew all about planting, especially to always dig a deeper hole than you need for the plant so that there’s a little hollow to do good watering into, and to fill that hole when watering. For years the gardening shows I watched said ‘never put the plant deeper than the soil level’ ‘wet feet rah rah rah’ but that advice hardly applies here.” [From Wednesday 24th Feb, 2010]
