Thou art the Iris

If you are indifferent to irises, move to a dry place. You’ll soon love them.

It has rained once so far this spring, yet my irises have bravely put out flowers as best they can.

Pigfaces are also much loved here. These ones (aka ice plants or vygies) come from south africa along with gazanias, diosmas, proteas etc. Australian ones also do well!

  1. Yes, though not as dry here as where you are, I am very grateful for Irises 🙂
Our soil doesn’t hold water very well but I’m working on it!
Your yellow garden is looking great!
